1/2 cup honey 1 cup milk 6 eggs 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon salt 12 slices French bread, each 3/4-inch thick Butter Honey and toasted pecan pieces for garnish, as desired
In a large bowl, beat honey, milk, eggs, cinnamon and salt. Dip bread slices in egg mixture, turning to coat. Melt a little butter in a large skillet over medium heat and brown soaked slices, turning once to brown second side.
Serve with additional honey and sprinkle with pecans, as desired.
Yields 6 servings.
